Carrickfergus Advertiser January 1st 1915

The following pictures are taken from the Carrickfergus Advertiser 1st January 1915 Edition.  They list all the men from the Joymount area of Carrickfergus who signed up for either the Army or Navy. I do think people often forget just how many from Carrickfergus served during the Great War.  So far I have gathered information on over 1000 service men and women, for a town the size of Carrickfergus at the time this is an unbelievable figure.  If you recognise any names in the list below please do get in touch with any information you may have.
